Our Pastor

Joe Eason has served as Trinity's only pastor, a position held from 1975.  Under Pastor Eason's leadership, the church has seen numerous building projects and the church is currently involved in a vibrant lay ministry program.

A native of Hinesville, Georgia, Pastor Eason began as a youth minister at a local Hinesville church while attending college. Following his years of college at both Brewton-Parker College* and Georgia Southern College* (now a University), Pastor Eason became actively involved with private, Christian education for 25 years at Pinewood Christian Academy* in Bellville, Georgia and taught several college courses throughout the years and Brewton-Parker. 

Throughout the years, Rev. Eason has completed graduate studies at Georgia Southern College and Luther Rice Seminary* and served as pastor of four other Southern Baptist churches, before coming home to Trinity.

Pastor Eason is married to the former Nancy Jones of Register, Georgia and they have three children: Elizabeth Bauman (husband Barry), Mollye and Joseph. Joe and Nancy have four grandchildren.

Director of Student Ministries

Minister of Music

Nancy Kent became Trinity's Minister of Music in 1994.  Mrs. Kent is married to Gary (a church deacon) and they have one son, Sean. Nancy is a native to Parkersburg, West Virginia, and a graduate of Asbury College*. Nancy was an elementary school teacher for several years before ministering in Music fulltime.

 

Mrs. Kent is a proud grandmother and the mother-in-law to Sandy Kent.

Director of Campus and Facilities

Marty Glisson is the fulltime manager of the building and grounds at Trinity. He is extremely knowledgeable in so many ways and an integral part of the success of the many events and programs at Trinity.

 

Mr. Glisson is married to Faye and they have two children and three grandchildren.

 

All events and programs scheduled on the church campus must be approved by Mr. Glisson prior to scheduling.

Director of Media & Business Administrator

Joseph Eason is the Director of Media. His responsibilities include internal and external communication, including publicity, public relations, advertising, and is the Director of the Media Ministry (which roles include television broadcasting and this website).

 

Mr. Eason is also responsible for general business and the carrying out of official church policy at Trinity as the Business Administrator.

Manager of Business Operations 

 

Regina Miles serves as Trinity’s Manager of Business and Financial Operations in a full-time capacity. Her roles include contribution receivables, and is the director of purchasing and receiving, among many other general business tasks. Mrs. Miles handles the "official" church calendar and provides assistance to departmental leaders in all business matters including assistance with funding.

 

Regina is a charter (founding) member of Trinity and is married to Larry Miles. They have children, Adam and Timothy. She is also a grandmother.

Receptionist & Administrative Secretary

 

While having the added responsibility of being the pastor’s wife, Nancy Eason is Trinity’s Receptionist and Administrative Secretary. Booking appointments, operating the main switchboard, and providing a friendly reception to persons visiting the church office are all part of Mrs. Eason’s responsibilities.

Director of Food Services

Kim Hill is the Director of Food Services and responsible for Wednesday Meals and the church kitchen. Mrs. Hill also handles all the details of planning for special events involving meals (i.e. Homecoming). Mrs. Hill is a part-time employee.

Director of Childcare

 

Carolyn Fitzgerald is the Director of Childcare at Trinity. She is responsible for the safety and comfort of our nursery babies and toddlers, a role in which she takes very seriously. 

 

She is responsible for Childcare stafing and providing a safe environment for Trinity’s youngest. She is a part-time employee.

Director of Broadcast

 

Sean Kent is responsible for the filming and broadcasting of church services and special events. Sean is the editor of the for each Sunday Morning’s worship services shown on local Television. He is a part-time employee and member of The Media Ministry staff.
